Pray

How can you pray?

Pray for boldness. In a place so saturated by Buddhism, pray that we can be bold and clear in presenting the gospel. Please pray Eph. 6:10-13 for us: "Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything to stand, stand firm then..."

Pray for endurance. We will be in Thailand from June 2012-December 2013. That is a long time. Please pray that we are able to find rest and comfort in Christ alone during this time, and that He is our sustaining power. Pray Gal 6:9 for us: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Pray for discernment. Pray that we know how and where to invest our time and energy. Pray that we would know who to invest in, and how to invest in them. Please pray that as our minds are renewed in the Word, we "will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will." (Romans 12:2)

Pray for God to open the eyes of the blind. "The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous." (Psalm 146:8)

  1. "The LORD bless you and keep you, the LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you, the LORD lift up the light of His countenance upon you and give you peace."

May you rest and walk in the deep love that Jesus has for you and those you serve, knowing in every fiber that He goes before you, and holds you in every step.
