Information about the Baptist Student Center
Our Ministry: The Baptist Student Center or BSC, a Christian Language Center, was founded in 1952 to share the gospel with students. Our Lord has blessed our passion to spread His good news, and today we have a total student enrollment of 2,600 students from all walks of life & various occupations. We have as many as 200 students who come to our Bible English classes every Sunday morning & afternoon.

- Share the Gospel: Bangkok, Thailand is a city with rich traditions in Buddhism and spirit-worship. The majority of the people know almost nothing about Jesus. And most don’t even have a clear understanding of who God is. We are seeing God’s work here first-here. He is creating opportunities and people are becoming more receptive to the gospel.
- Teach Language: The BSC seeks to give students the highest quality English instruction possible. BSC has a reputation in Bangkok for superior English instruction done by caring teachers–teachers who care about the students even outside of the classroom.
- Establish New Churches: Teachers can virtually assist the long-term missionaries here in starting new churches in Bangkok through the relationships that you develop. Teachers will be a virtual link in the chair that leads a person all the way from “no knowledge of God” to strong church involvement.
- Partner with other Great Commission Christians: Although the BSC is a Baptist organization, the task of fulfilling the Great Commission in Bangkok is much too large for any one denomination. Therefore, the BSC wants to work with any Christians who have the heart to reach people for Christ.
